Body Odour occurs when the odour of sweat and skin secretions comes in contact with natural bacteria. What is sweat? Sweat or perspiration is a salty liquid, which oozes out of pores in our skin. Sweat is mainly produced by two types of glands namely “eccrine” gland and “apocrine” gland. In other terms we can say that sweat is the most convenient means of “homeostasis” that means for keeping it cool. There are about 2.5 million sweat glands which act as an air conditioner for maintaining homeostatic balance. Sweat has no odour of its own but it smells bad when bacteria acts on sweat reaching skin surface. Body Odour smells bad due to which people use deodorants or body spray. But it can only reduce the odour temporarily. If the body odour comes from your body then it indicates that there is something wrong with your body physically and emotionally.

Bad Body Odour mainly arises from three kinds of problems:

1.Hygiene problem: This problem occurs due to not having proper bath, or not cleaning body. So only clean clothes should be used. Cleansers and deodorants should be used after taking advice because if access of chemical is used then it will be prove harmful for our body.
2.Skin Problem: If you are having any sort of skin allergy or an infection so it contribute body odour problem.
3.There are some uncommon genetic conditions linked with odour, so it is necessary to consult your doctor.

Main Causes Of Body Odour:
Obesity, warm body temperature, synthetic fabrics like polyester traps sweat, bad eating pattern, wearing tight clothes or tight shoes also cause bad body odour.
Food , which helps to fight with bad body odour:
1.A balanced diet is must i.e 20%grains, fish, 20% oils and fats and pulses.
2.Juice should be included in your diet.
3.Drinking plenty of water so that body smells fresh and sweet.
Foods That Should Be Avoided:
People having bad body odour should avoid intake of soya products, corn, wheat, nuts, cereals, chocolate or should be limited.
